4net Technologies gain ISO27001 Certification
4net Technologies has received ISO 27001:2013 Certification, the international standard that describes best practices for an information security management system (ISMS).
ISO/IEC 27001 is the most widely accepted international standard for information security best practices and helps organisations implement a systematic and proactive approach to managing security risks. The ISO/IEC 27001 certification was awarded to 4net by an independent and accredited certification body on successful completion of a formal compliance audit of 4net’s ISMS.
Richard Pennington, 4net’s Managing Director, said:
“This certification is critically important to 4net and our customers. It is an assurance to existing and potential clients that we have established and implemented best-practice our internal and confidential data, intellectual property, and customer information.”
“We’re proud to be recognised for our dedication to information security and best practices. It is a testament to our team who ensure that we have every safeguard in place when dealing with user information.”
4net underwent a thorough review and test of their ISMS, which holds essential employee and customer data, as part of the compliance audit, in adherence to the strict ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard requirements. The tests endorsed 4net’s application of security controls which they use to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer information, confidential data, and intellectual property.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification not only reinforces 4net’s commitment regarding information security practices and controls, but also assures the systematic and ongoing approach of managing information security risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company’s internal/confidential data, intellectual property, and customer information.
